West Village-Blue Moon Pizza Review

My family and I just recently went into the Blue Moon Pizza restaurant located in West Village off of South Atlanta.  We had gone in for lunch with our two young boys (4 & 6).

The restaurant was clean & open with some great contemporary decorating.  The staff was very friendly and service was superb.  Our waiter had given our two boys a piece of pizza dough to shape into what ever they wished.  They then took the dough and baked it for them.  The kids loved it.

The food was very good.  The pizza options included non traditional toppings such as Jerk Chicken, Greek, Thai Chicken among others.  There is the traditional “supreme” pizza which they refer to as a “Classic”.  We selected 1/2 White & 1/2 Margherita.  Both were very good.  The White pizza wasn’t the typical greasy white that you will find at other area pie shops.  This had what I consider much fresher ingredients and was excellent.

My two boys had the standard pepperoni pizza.  There review was “this is the best pizza I have had”

Overall it was an enjoyable dining experience!  They also have a full bar as well.

Feel free to share your experiences!  I’d love to hear them.
